I often gather strength from quotes I read.

In this post, I wanted to share 10 of my favourite quotes that have clearly come from the wisdom of experience. As people share quotes from their own thoughts and experiences, reading them can usually help us navigate our own lives and grow in our own wisdom. The sharing of experience helps us shelter most storms and offers the companionship of knowing you’re not alone.

I keep this list close and tend to go to them when I’m feeling low in need of a little inspiration. If even just one of these strikes a chord within you, then this post was absolutely worth sharing!

1- “Life is like a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving” Albert Einstein

2- “Nothing ever goes away until it has taught us what we need to know” Pema Chodron

3- “When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be” Lao Tzu

4- “It is good to love many things, for therein lies the true strength, and whosoever loves much performs much, and can accomplish much, and what is done in love is well done.” Vincent Van Gogh

5- “If not us, who? If not now, when?” John F Kennedy

6- “Nothing is impossible. The word itself says I’m Possible” Audrey Hepburn

7- “Believe you can and you are halfway there” Theodore Roosevelt

8- “Be – do not try to become” Osho

9- “Be realistic, plan for a miracle” Osho

10- “ If you do not change direction, you may end up where you are heading” Buddha

And for anyone who knows me, you know I like to overdeliver! So in the words of Dr Seuss, remember that “no one is youer than you”.

Tell yourself this every day in the mirror as you brush your teeth.

Because when you are authentic and true to you—that is, being yourself in every aspect of your life—and you stay on this path, all great things will follow.
